We are heartbroken to announce the passing of our father, Dean Robert Moody. He passed away peacefully at the age of 69.

Our dad enjoyed watching all Detroit sports, but preferred the Red Wings and the Lions losing. In his spare time, you would find him working outside, gardening, and tending to his lawn. He loved to share his passion of gardening, working on cars, doing projects around the house even if it was "mickey moused". In his early years he bowled, hunted, played pool, and ice skated with his children. Dean also shared his love of old music, especially The Beatles, with his children. He worked at the United States Post Office for over 20 years as a mechanic; he loved his job and was extremely successful at it. He was a dedicated father, loving son, and passionate grandfather.

Dean was predeceased by his father, Roger F. Moody. He is survived by his Mother, Wanda Moody, Son: Robert C. Moody, Daughter Rachel C. Moody granddaughter Shelby J. Moody, Son: Roger C. Moody and his wife; Jessica Moody, grandson Miles R. Moody, and daughter: Holly Moody.

There will be a celebration of life at 342 Bar and Grill (3932 Pelham St, Dearborn Heights, MI 48125) on Wednesday, December 28, 12-3pm.
