Deborah L. Wilson

Deborah L. Wilson, age 68, from Taylor, MI, a beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on September 4th, 2026 leaving behind a legacy of love that will continue to live on through her family and all who knew her. She had such a beautiful kind loving soul, always seeing the best in every person and always looking out for people and finding ways she could help them whether it was in her words of wisdom or prayers. Something our mother wants all of us to remember.. One day I won't be here to keep our family connected when that day comes promise me this: Choose each other on purpose. Stay close, even when life pulls you in different directions. Protect one another, check in often, and show up when it matters most. That's the legacy I hope my love leaves behind.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Andrew and Nellie Marie Hendrickson and siblings. Deborah was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gregory Scott Wilson, and her later in life fiancé, James Elvis Weir. Both held special places in her life and heart, and she will be remembered for the love she shared with them. She was a devoted mother to Kelly Mullaney (Thomas), Chad Wilson (Haley), Michael Wilson (Bobby), and Autumn Mulka (Christopher Jr.). Deborah was a cherished grandmother to 22 grandchildren and a proud great-grandmother to 6 great-grandchildren. She held a special place in each of their hearts and leaves behind countless memories that will be treasured for generations to come. Her greatest joy was her family, and she treasured every moment shared with her children and grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 10th, 2026 from 2:00-8:00 p.m. and on Friday, September 11th, 2026 from 2:00-8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be Saturday, September 12th, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. All services located at Howe-Peterson Funeral Home and Cremation Services 9800 Telegraph Rd. Taylor, MI 48180. Deborah will be interred at Oakridge Cemetery in Brownstown Township.
