Delores Scherer passed away on August 18, 2023 of natural causes at the age of 84. She was born to John and Lena Kowal on September 8, 1938 in Glen Dale, West Virginia. Beloved wife of the late Ralph Boyer Sr. and the late Norbert Scherer. Loving mother of Ralph (Lynn) Boyer, Jeffrey (Theresa) Boyer, and Stephen (Jennifer) Boyer. Caring grandmother to grandsons Jonathon Boyer and the late Matthew Boyer. Avid Broadway play follower and vintage movie connoisseur. Loved by many friends and extended family. She succeeds in death her brother David Kowal.

Delores was among the first graduating class of Edsel Ford Highschool. Her education continued at Detroit Business College. In her earlier years she modeled for BF Goodrich and was featured in a Sears catalog! She was always very proud of her work and enjoyed what she did. As her career expanded it took her to Sheller-Globe, BF Goodrich, and Faygo Beverages where she worked as an executive assistant. Delores enjoyed reading, traveling, music, Irises, the color Lavender, going to see stage plays, and was an avid movie fan of all kinds. Especially anything on the Turner Classic Movies channel. Delores is the kind of person we all aspire to be. She was loving, caring, motivated, and one of the nicest people you could ever meet. She will be deeply missed.
