Denise M. Kahl passed away on January 4, 2025 at the age of 62. Beloved mother of Rebecca (Justin) Palm, Rachel Barnes, Ryan (Kelsey) Kahl, and the late Ricki Kahl. Cherished grandmother of Erin, Jaxon, Riley, Reagan, Jemma, and Jase. Loving sister of Diane Barnes and Deena "Lynn" Barnes. Denise is preceded in death by her parents, Elburn and Doris Barnes, and her nephew, Andrew Lefko.

Denise always put others before herself. She loved to make people smile even if she didn't personally know them. Denise loved to laugh and sing. She was a shoulder to cry on and brought a comfort and peace to others around her. She gave great advise and was a truly kind person. She loved her family more than anything, they will miss her deeply.

A Memorial Gathering will take place on Saturday, January 11, 2025 from 1:00-8:00pm with a Memorial Service at 4:00pm located at Howe-Peterson Funeral Home and Cremation Services 9800 Telegraph Rd. Taylor, MI 48180.
