Deryle Bryan Pattison II, age 62, passed away on August 31, 2022.
Proud father of Deryle III and Bryan (Amber) Pattison.
Caring grandpa of Logan Pattison.
Dear brother of Dwayne (Pam), Greg, and Cindy Pattison.
Treasured son of Judy and the late Deryle Pattison.
Loved by partners Laura and Brenda.
Deryle was a man who lived a fascinating, multi-faceted life. A self-made entrepreneur, he opened up Garden City Music – The Metal Shop as well as the cleaning service SparkleBrite.
Deryle was a creative at heart. He had a great love for the arts and music. He designed his high school yearbook and enjoyed painting a menagerie of subjects. Deryle was a multi-talented musician and excelled as a bassist. He played many venues, from Token Lounge to Blondies and beyond. He also helped run and MC at Harpos for many a show.
Above all, he loved his family dearly. He would do everything with them from going on camping and fly-fishing trips, cooking favorite Arabic dishes, and having all day jam sessions. Deryle also had a passion for hometown, Detroit sport teams.
He will be remembered for his strong will and his ability to jump in with both feet to become accomplished at a new skill. He was a warrior through and through and will be missed greatly by so many.
Visitation will be Tuesday, September 6 from 2-8PM with a funeral service at 6PM at Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 9800 S Telegraph Rd, Taylor MI 48180. Guests are encouraged to wear their favorite band shirts in honor of Deryle's love of music.
