Diana Faulkner, age 74, of Dearborn Heights, Michigan, passed away on October 13, 2024 surrounded by those she loved. Diana was born on October 16, 1949 in Detroit, Michigan to Leo and Joanna Schultz. She met the love of her life, Peter in 1976 with whom she recently celebrated 45 years of marriage. Their love for each other was not dulled over the years and was still evident up until her very last day. Together, they raised two daughters, Trisha Guyot (Chad) and Jennifer Owens (Brian), providing for them a lifetime of cherished family memories.

Diana was an amazingly, strong and determined woman who loved her family with everything she had. She enjoyed traveling, camping with her family throughout Michigan and vacations with her life-long friend, Joan to Mexico and the Caribbean. She developed a love for gardening and that love showed in the beauty she created in her yard. Her yard even received the Dearborn Heights city beautiful award.

She was a wonderful mother, always there to celebrate her children's achievements and offer an ear or a shoulder when the inevitable difficulties of growing up arose. Nothing compares to the love she had for her grandchildren, Peter, Olivia, Caroline, and Nolan. She cherished each and every one of them and enjoyed spending time with them any chance she could.

Diana was a force to be reckoned with at times and wasn't one to give up, or back down on anything, especially when it came to her family. She will be missed by so many and her loss has left a hole in the hearts of those who loved her dearly.

The family has requested that in lieu of sending flowers, those wishing to express their sympathy, consider making a donation to the charity of their choosing in Diana's name.
