Dolores "Delo" Bell

Dolores "Delo" Bell, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully surrounded by family after a blessed life of 96 years. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Max Bell, with whom she shared a lifetime of love and memories and over half a century of marriage.

Delo was the proud mother of Gary (Monica) Bell, Larry (Jennifer) Bell, Karen (Al) Fuchs, Kim (Rick) Ripard, and Kathy (Terry) Manus. She was also a cherished grandmother to 15 grandchildren and great-grandmother to 22 great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her immense joy.

In her younger years, Delo worked at Sanders, and in the 1960s she was ahead of her time, pioneering work-at-home employment by typing legal documents for an attorney while raising her family. She was a woman of determination and resourcefulness, always finding a way to balance work and family life.

Delo had many passions that brightened her days. She loved shopping trips, friendly games of cards, tending her garden, cooking meals for her loved ones, and spending time on the golf course. Her warmth, wit, and zest for life touched all who knew her.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, followed by a service at 5:00 PM at Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, Dearborn, MI.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family and friends.
