Obituary

Dolores was a longtime resident of Dearborn Michigan. She passed away peacefully on Feb. 15th, 2023.

Loving Wife of the late Virgil H. Dahmen.

Beloved Mother of Roberto Basile, Paul Dahmen, Daniel Dahmen, Shelly Drozdowski (Jim), and Joseph Dahmen.

Dear Grandmother of Taylor Dahmen, Kristen Drozdowski (Steve), and Bradley Drozdowski (Ashley).

Great Grandmother to Henry Emshwiller.

Cherished Daughter of the late Emanuel and Helen Basile.

Loving Sister of Tony Basile and Beloved Aunt to her cherished nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her brothers Robert Basile, Ted Basile and her sister-in-laws Sally Basile and Linda Prospero.

Dolores was a member of the St. Maria Goretti, formerly St. Sabastian Catholic Church, where she enjoyed singing in the choir with her friends. She was also a long-time member of the Altar Society. Dolores loved to sing and play the piano and enjoyed tending to the roses in the yard of her Dearborn home. Dolores is a retiree of the Dearborn school system where she worked as a teacher's aide. She also enjoyed her most recent role at the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village.
