Dolores Marguerite Despres (June 4, 1935 - June 16, 2013) Dolores Marguerite Despres, 78, passed away on June 16, 2013 in her home, surrounded by loved ones. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Born June 4, 1935 in Detroit, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Lillian Corrigan. Dolores (called "Dee" by family and friends) is survived by her husband of 53 years, Thomas Achilles Despres, her brother Paul (Kathleen) Corrigan of Franklin, Michigan, and five children: Raymond Douglas and wife Connie of Great Barrington, Massachusetts; Renée Therese of Gila Hot Springs, New Mexico; Celeste Diane and husband Sidney Sheres of Manhattan Beach, California; Denise Marie and husband Frank Bura of Dearborn, Michigan; and Andre Paul and wife Sara of Brooklyn, New York. She is also survived by seven grandchildren - Teresa, Gabrielle, Arielle, Benjamin, Roseva, Paul, and Caroline. She was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Corrigan, in 2012. Dee graduated from Our Lady of Mercy High School in 1953 and subsequently Mercy College. She went on to work as a speech therapist in Detroit Public Schools. She resigned to raise her children and then returned to work alongside Thomas at the business they started, Cold Saw Precision Company. She enjoyed gardening, walking her dog Mack, cooking, and exploring new technologies and ideas. Dee was the epitome of generosity and graciousness.
