Stus
June 16, 1925 – January 10, 2020
Dolores (Dee) Theresa Stus, 94, was born June 16, 1925 in Detroit, Michigan to Stella and Henry Ebel. She passed away peacefully January 10, 2020 surrounded by 3 generations of her beloved family. Dolores graduated from Holy Redeemer and began working at Timken-Detroit where she meet and married her "one and only" Jerry. Together they built a house in Springwells Park in Dearborn, created a home, raised their 9 children and enjoyed life there for 66 years. Family was always a priority to Dolores. She was a master at distracting and redirecting while entertaining the children and keeping the peace. In her free time she enjoyed puzzles, ceramics, reading, cards, games, bike riding, gardening, canning, and bird watching. Dee was always available to her neighbors whether it was child care, baking, garden tomatoes, chicken soup, or whatever was needed. The big meals she made were always about family, togetherness, and making everyone smile.
