Dominic Fontichiaro passed away on November 3, 2024 at the age of 96. Beloved father of Elaine (Steve) Atallah and James (Kris) Fontichiaro. Proud grandpa of David (Kelly), Mary (Paul), Katie, Michael (Cat), and Chris (Katie). Great-grandpa of Parker and Jack. Dear brother of Robert (Chris) and the late William.

Dominic proudly served in the U.S. Navy during World War II on the island of Guam. He retired from Ford Motor Company as a Senior Designer after 35 years. In his retirement, he loved to scuba dive, play racquetball, and spend time on his boat and water ski on Triangle Lake.

Visitation at the Dearborn location of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home on Friday, November 8, 3-7pm with a prayer service at 4pm. An additional visitation will be held on Saturday, November 9, 10-10:30am. Interment with Navy honors to follow at Glen Eden Memorial Park, Livonia.
