Donald J. Kostrewa – Age 87, passed away November 28 ^th , 2018 in Dearborn, Michigan. Beloved husband of Marianne for 43 joyous years. Treasured brother of Joseph (Carolyn) Kost, Gary Kostrewa, and Betty Van Ochten. Cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews. Loved by so many additional family members and friends. Don was a devoutly religious man who sought to care for his fellow man. He taught English in Peru as a brother of Maryknoll and provided as an adult altar server and usher to Sacred Heart for many years. Don also offered his assistance to various boy scout troops. He had a knack for detailed woodworking. One of his most proud projects was crafting a Chi-Rho for a church in Germany to display. Those with the honor of knowing Don will remember him as warm, outgoing, with a big, giving heart. The funeral mass will be Monday, December 3 ^rd at 11AM located at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 22430 Michigan Ave, Dearborn. Visitation will be Sunday, December 2 ^nd , 2-8PM at the Dearborn Chapel of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 22546 Michigan Ave. Donald will be laid to eternal rest at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
