Obituary

Donald W. Masse, age 75

Beloved husband of the late Nancy.

Loving father of Holly Arrol, David, Abigail Wilson (Charles Perry) and
Christa (Wes) Hardin.

Cherished grandfather of Brendan, Katrina, Camden, Taylor, Hannah, Liam,
Melody, Bella, Channing, Jack, Lucas and Maggie Jean.

Don received his Bachelor's degree at U of Detroit Mercy after graduating fro
Holy Redeemer High School in Flint. While at U of D, Don was on the debate team and traveled across the country debating top colleges and had many wins. Don went to Boston College for his graduate degree in English literature and met his wife Nancy Jean who was a teacher. Don and Nancy married and moved to Michigan where was He was a Teacher at John Glenn High School and Cherry Hill High School for over forty years. Don was the debate team coach for several years and led the team to many victories. Once Don retired he volunteered at Team Mental Health Services in their Skill Building program for over six years. Don taught current events. Don was an active member of the Journey of Hope church, helped with his grandkids and enjoyed several years of retirement. He loved traveling up north to Forest Lake and  continued to write novels and poetry.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 29th, from 3:00 until 8:00 at the Taylor Chapel
of Howe Peterson, 9800 Telegraph Rd.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, May 30th, 11:00am,
at Journey of Hope Church, 8900 Pardee Rd. Taylor Mi.
