Donna Jean Krey of Dearborn Heights passed away peacefully in her home with her daughters and best friend by her side on August 2, 2018 at the age of 83.

Donna was the beloved wife of the late Robert Krey. Loving Mother of Linda Yona (John), Cheryl Krey, Stephen Krey (deceased), and Brenda Thompson (Eric). Dearest Grandmother of Alesha (Damien), Joe (Nikita), and Kaitlyn (Jason). Cherished Great-Grandmother of Aniyah, Ava, Logan, and Dante. Precious Daughter of the late Kenneth and Anita Fritz. Caring sister of Kenneth and Richard.

Donna was honored to be awarded Michigan Senior of the Year for Service and Dearborn Heights Senior Citizen of the Year for her service to her church, community and senior center. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, swimming, spending time with family and friends, and collecting snowmen. Her smile, laughter, and energy will be greatly missed.

Visitation and Funeral Services will be held at the Taylor Chapel of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 9800 S. Telegraph, Taylor, MI. Visitation Sunday, August 5, 2018 from 4:00 – 8:00 pm. Funeral Monday August 6, 2018 at 10:00 am.
