BAIN, Donnie W., age 69 of Westland, January 26, 2024.

Donnie was the beloved husband of Ruth Bain for 28 wonderful years. Loving father of Jason (Erika), Rose (Joe) and Chrissy (Dave). Loving Papa of Nick (Anna), Kayla (Justin), Hailey, Bryce, Chris, Dominic, Elek and Emma. Great Papa to Colt and Jace. Survived by his siblings, Mike (Deb) Bain, Sandy (Bruce) Demeulemeester, Dennis (Diane) Bain, Penny (Michael) Swinney and Carol (Don) Barnes. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Claudia Bain.

Donnie worked for General Motors for 30 years, retiring at the age of 48. He enjoyed traveling with his wife, children, grandchildren, siblings and friends. Most of his time was spent fishing, hunting, camping and watching Bonanza. He loved playing his guitar and was determined to teach all of the grandchildren how to play.

Though, even through hard times, he took his time to focus on the good and make memories with the people he loved most.

When he was around, there was never a dull moment. The memories shared will live on with all of us forever.

Visitation will be Monday, January 29, from 2-8PM. Funeral Service is scheduled for Tuesday, January 30 at 11AM.  All services located at Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 9800 Telegraph Rd, Taylor MI 48180. Interment to follow at Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery.
