Ms. Thompson, 94, died in Orange County California in a senior living facility, on May 18, 2016.
Doris was born in Monroe Michigan, graduated from St. Henry's High School in 1939, and also graduated from Detroit Business College.
Doris served her country during WWII in the UUS Navy Quartermaster Corp. She retired from Security Bank in 1971, but enjoyed a second career at "Amy Joy" because she was able to interact with people.
Doris left Michigan in 1990 for California and retirement. She enjoyed an active and joyful life until her passing.
Doris was preceded in the death by: Husband Howard McLaughlin, husband Steve Sparr, husband Howard Thompson. She also lost a daughter Sharon, daughter-in-law Suzanne, son Kevin and grandson Christopher.
Doris is survived by; son Charles McLaughlin and wife Tong, son Gerald McLaughlin and wife Tammie, son John McLaughlin and wife Pam, and daughter Jacqueline.
She also leaves us 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 7 great, great grandchildren.
