Dorothy E. Jump, age 88 of Taylor, passed away August 9th, 2018 in Livonia, Michigan.

She is survived by her beloved, compassionate spouse of 68 beautiful years, Kenneth Jump.
Proud mother of Denise (Terrance) Guest, and Deborah (Kurt) Adams.
Caring grandmother of Jeremy (Elizabeth) Guest, and Bradley (Anna) Fritz.
Dear great-grandmother of Alyssa and Sofia.
Treasured sister of the late Ruth, Robert, and Mary.

Dorothy was a devoted homemaker and matriarch of the Jump family. She had a knack for sewing and would often make her children's clothing as well as their dolls'. She had the best recipes for pizza and spaghetti and dabbled in cake decorating. Dorothy loved playing at local casinos, her luck being with 7's and butterflies. Her demeanor was loving, but she could be feisty when she had to. She was a bright and beautiful soul who will be missed by so many.

A memorial gathering will be held in her honor Saturday, September 8th, 2018 from 1-4PM with a prayer service at 3PM. All services will be located at the Taylor Chapel of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 9800 Telegraph Road.
