McGirr, Dorothy Helen September 10, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Emery McGirr. Loving mother of Shawn and Erin (Octavian) Mikleus. Proud grandmother of Shane and Logan. Dearest sister of Catherine Cotter and John Wilson. Dorothy was a school teacher for 43 years, most recently at Dearborn Heights District 7. Funeral Service Saturday, 11 am at the Dearborn Chapel of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 22546 Michigan Ave. Visitation Friday, 1-9 pm.
