Son of Jean and Peter Betzing.

Brother of Peter Betzing, the late Jeanette Taylor and the late Pam Wenzel.

Uncle of Katie Taylor, Karie Betzing, Pete Betzing, Mike Duguid, Christina McDonald, Matt Wallace, Josh Wallace, Robert Wenzel, Tommy Wenzel, Linda Wenzel, Daniel Taylor, Clyde Taylor, Larry Taylor, Jimmy Taylor, and the late Judy Wenzel.

Earl loved classic rock and liked to play the drums. He worked for the railroad in the 80's and enjoyed the travel opportunities that came with the job. He was a Logistics Coordinator for over 30 years at Atlas Oil Company. He found great satisfaction in his work and cherished the relationships he built with his colleagues at Atlas Oil Company. Earl loved going to garage sales, he was always looking for a great deal! He enjoyed watching the Detroit Lions and the Detroit Tigers. He had a passion for cars and Motorcycles. Earl loved his family more than anything, and he loved his faithful companion, Rex.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2025 from 1:00-8:00pm and the Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 31, 2025 at 11:00am. All services will be located at Howe-Peterson Funeral Home and Cremation Services 9800 Telegraph Rd. Taylor, MI 48180.
