Bill Klingel, of Jupiter, FL and Dearborn, MI, died in his Florida home April 12 ^th , 2016.  He was 86 years young and is survived by his wife Mary, daughters Sheri Windisch (Emmett), Sally Klingel (Phillip Donovan), Stacey Duncan (Fraser).  He is also survived by his grandchildren Katie, Emmett, Susanne, Cameron, and Will.  He was preceded in death by his daughter Susan and sister Jean (Klingel) Carey.

Bill was a graduate of Ann Arbor High School, and was attending Eastern Michigan University when he was drafted in 1950.   After his discharge, Bill and Mary settled in Dearborn where they raised four daughters.  Bill worked for many years for the Ford Motor Company before starting a warehousing business. He was a member of the Dearborn Kiwanis Club and the Centurions, and a life member of the Dearborn Country Club.  His love of deep sea fishing and golf drew him and his wife to retire to their Florida home, where his daughters, their husbands and grandchildren visited frequently.  Bill Klingel was a generous, kind and fun loving man.  He was an all-around athlete and outdoors-man , who lived big and loved life.
Funeral Service Saturday 12pm at the Taylor Chapel of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home. Visitation Saturday from 10-12pm. Burial at St. Hedwig cemetery.
