Earl John Olson of Dearborn MI, originally of Rochelle IL. 5/14/53 - 8/21/15. Died suddenly and peacefully. Loving husband of Susan and father to Erin and Lauren. Survived by mother LaVerne Olson, brother Perry Olson (Rhonda), sisters Lisa Flanigan (Rick) and Lorie Olson. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Earl was an electrical engineer, working for 40 years in the industrial field, specializing in instrumentation, and working the last 10 years at EES Coke on Zug Island. Earl was an avid sportsman, golfer, and bowler. On a quest to continually learn, Earl was a student of history and the sciences, as well as a fan of science fiction. Earl was well loved and will be missed by all. Visitation will be at Howe Peterson Funeral Home on Michigan Avenue in Dearborn on Monday August 24th from 2 - 9pm. The service will be at Howe Peterson Funeral Home Tuesday August 25th at 11:00am with visitation starting at 10:00am and luncheon afterward. Donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, and the Grindstone-Pt. Hope Sportsmen's Club (6101 Huron Rd, Port Hope, MI 48468)
