Edward Richard Masson Jr. passed away on January 21, 2022 while under care at Beaumont Hospital in Trenton at the age of 51. He is survived by his wife Tricia (Maddox) Masson, his daughter Sierra, his son Dalton, his father Edward Masson, his mother Sharon Masson, his sister Wendi Czuj (Micheal) and his nephew Orion Masson. 'Ed' was preceded in death by his sister Dawn Masson.

Ed was born on February 14th, 1970 in Dearborn, Michigan. In 1998, Ed started the Apprenticeship Program to become a Journeyman Millwright at Cleveland Cliffs (Rouge Steel). He has worked at this plant since 1997. He had a house built for his family in Newport, Michigan in 2002, where they currently reside.

Ed was an avid outdoorsman, a "jack of all trades" for fixing or building anything, and always wanted to go where the action was. He loved having a garden and canning vegetables. He was deeply involved in his children's lives through marching band and other school functions. He was always more than willing to lend a hand to whoever needed it. He will be dearly missed.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 from 11:00AM-3:00PM and the funeral service will begin at 3:00PM located at Howe-Peterson Funeral Home Taylor Chapel 9800 Telegraph Rd. Taylor, MI 48180.
