Age 99 Passed away June 26, 2009 . Born in South Dakota on Sept 1, 1909 and was the 5th child of 8 children. Wife of the late Clarence E. Beck. Edla is survived By one sister, Emma Johnson 97, of Brookings, South Dakota. She is also survived By her only daughter, Joanne McClanahan, and her four grandchildren, Roxanne McClanahan, Deanna Traicoff Mike, Derek McClanahan and Carrie Gartner Ken. She is survived by her seven great-grandchildren, Michael, Brian, and Kyle Traicoff and Nathan, Haley, Andrea, and Shawn Gartner. Edla is also survived by her nephew, Donald Jordet Dearborn and many other nieces and nephews in South Dakota and Texas. Visitation will be held Sunday from 1-9 p.m. Funeral will take place on Monday June 29, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Dearborn Chapel of the Howe-Peterson Funeral Home 22546 Michigan Ave. Interment Glen Eden Cemetery, Livonia, Michigan .
