Edmund J. "Sonny" Papineau III,
Age 72 of West Branch, MI. formerly of Taylor and Flat Rock. Loving Husband of Nancy for 53 years. Beloved Father of Denise Lucas (Mike) and Jackie Papineau. Dear Grandfather of Stephanie Lucas, Michael Lucas, Lauren Reitmeyer and Aaron Reitmeyer. Dear Great-Grandfather of Lyle Root.
Dear Son of the late Edmund Papineau and Mary Whisler (Art Whisler). Dearest Brother of Robert Papineau (Misha). Dear Brother-in-Law of Sandy Huckelberry (Tom), Gary Musselman (the late Faye), Dennis Musselman (Yvonne) and the late Frank Musselman (Yvonne) and Royal Musselman (Debbie).
Sonny was an avid motorcycle rider most of his life, after purchasing his first "motor-scooter" at the age of 13. He was a 30 year employee of the Ford Motor Company and Rouge Steel. Sonny founded and directed the "AA Garage Group" at his home in Flat Rock for over nine years focused on helping those recovering from addiction. He will be missed by all of his family and his many friends.
Services were provided by the Taylor Chapel of the Howe-Peterson Funeral Home and Cremation Services 9800 S. Telegraph Taylor, MI 48180
