On Wednesday April 29th 2020, Edward Makara, loving husband and uncle passed away at the age of 81.  Ed was born on February 11th, 1939 in Bridgeport, Connecticut.  He received his degree in architecture from The University of Cincinnati. Ed and his sweetheart, Doreen married in 1966. Ed had a passion for art and design, baking bread, and using the computer.  He volunteered at Sienna Literacy Center, helping children with math.  He was known for his generosity to family and friends, his joy of talking to others, and his delicious homemade bread. Ed is survived by his loving wife of 53 years,  Doreen, and several nieces and nephews.  Ed will be buried on Monday May 11th at a family only service at Mount Kelly Cemetery in Dearborn. Donations may be sent to Capuchian Soup Kitchen. Private burial services will be conducted. Please leave an online condolence to comfort the family.
