Petricko, Edward John, Sr. Age 88 July 28, 2009 Beloved husband of Helen Kmet Petricko. Dearest father of Ronald Wanda and the late Edward Jr. Dear grandfather of Steven, Patrick, Chris and Martin. Loving great grandfather of Robert, Hannah, Rachel, Kyle, Isabella, Abby, Sarah, Evan and Lydia. As a devoted family man he will be dearly missed. Mr. Petricko, a WWII veteran, retired from E & L Transport Company in 1983, after which he spent his winters in the Florida Keys. He was Vice-Commander of Esper-Blavat VFW Post #5112; member of the Belleville Moose Lodge#934; American Legion Post #364; DAV Chapter 51 as well as a member of O'Kelley K of C 3rd Degree #3860 and 4th Degree Msgr. Schulte Assembly #0492. In state Monday, 10:00am with funeral mass at 10:30am at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, 4855 Parker, Dearborn Heights. Dearborn Allied War Veteran Council Ritual Team to provide military honors after mass. Visitation Saturday, 3-9pm and Sunday, 1-9pm at the Taylor Chapel of the Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 9800 S. Telegraph Road.
