Edward Walter Spiter passed away at home surrounded by his family on November 26, 2022 at the age of 95.

Loving husband of the late Erminia. Beloved father of Arlene (the late Patrick) Shea, Lawrence (Vicki) Spiter, Diana (Mike) Schneider, the late Joann Deckert. Loving stepfather of Deanna (Ken) Rowe.

Dear grandfather of Ryan (Carrie) Shea, Justin (Tamara) Wall, Erin (Phillip) Hargrave, Jacob (Jenny) Schneider and Joshua Schneider.

Proud great grandfather of Aiden, Thomas, Lillian, Kiley, Madison and Isabella.

Edward proudly served in the U.S. Navy during WWII.

Visitation Thursday, December 1 ^st , 2022 from 10am-12pm at the Dearborn Chapel of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home (Between Outer Dr and Military)

Funeral services immediately following the visitation.

Interment will be at St. Hedwig Cemetery in Dearborn Heights at 3:15pm that day.
