MURPHY, Eleanor Marie (nee Monkiewicz) age 91 of Dearborn, MI died October 7, 2012. Proceeded in death by her husband of 68 years, Jack. Loving mother of Judith Greba (William), John (Nicole), Mary Hoover (Jeffrey), Michael (Margo), the late Robert and the late Dale. Dear grandmother and great grandmother. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and countless loving friends. Eleanor attended St. Alphonsus High School, graduated from the Detroit Business College, worked at the Statler Hotel in Detroit and enjoyed a career with the Dearborn Public Schools. She had a strong faith, and was a founding member of the Church of the Divine Child in Dearborn. She loved traveling, golfing and spending time with friends and family. A Memorial Mass celebrating Eleanor's life will be held on Saturday, October 20th, 2012 at 9:30 am at the Church of the Divine Child, 1055 N. Silvery Lane, Dearborn, MI, 48128-1099.
