Eleanor Swidan was born on October 4, 1937, and passed away peacefully on August 19, 2923. She was 85 years old.

She was born in Michigan and grew up in Allen Park. After graduating from the University of Michigan she spent many years in Baltimore, Maryland as a librarian. While there she earned a second master's degree from John Hopkins University.

After retiring, she returned to Michigan and lived with her sister Pat for 25 years. Eleanor loved to help people and recently adopted a family from the Middle East.

She is survived by her sister, Patsy Knoop, and nephews, Kenneth Knoop and Peter Knoop

We will gather Saturday, September 9, 2023, at 10:30 am followed by a memorial service at 11:00 am at Howe-Peterson Funeral Home - Dearborn.
