Elizabeth and Fred started their own company in 1976, California Creative Design, in San Diego, Ca. Elizabeth was a devoted animal lover who rescued countless dogs and cats from shelters and gave them a loving home and amazing care for the remainder of their lives. She leaves her dogs Nikki, Mattie, Buddy and Daisy. Elizabeth was a very elegant, cultured lady whose grace and refinement touched everyone who knew her. She worked as the Executive Secretary to the Director of the Santa Barbara Museum of Art for ten years, from 1984-1994. Upon returning to Michigan, she worked as the Secretary to the Dean of the Nursing School of Oakland University in Auburn Hills, Michigan. To her surprise (and the delight of her lucky family and friends), Elizabeth discovered that she was a very talented artist who had a flair for designing beautiful custom jewelry, with part of the proceeds going to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Fred and Elizabeth traveled across the country in their 38 foot 5th wheel travel trailer frequently, visiting friends and family, and Elizabeth always enriched everyone's lives with her kindness, generosity, and amazing wit! She will be greatly missed by her family and a legion of friends.
