It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Elizabeth "Betty" Dziuba who left us on April 20, 2025. She was born on August 11, 1925. Betty leaves behind a loving family including her children John Dziuba, Jr. (Ruth); Kathy Hecht (Bob); Ken Dziuba (Michele) and Sue Soule (Eric); Eight grandchildren (Eric (Morgan), Carla (Mike), Bobby (Járie), Emily (Steve), Elizabeth, Kelly, Kyle and Kevin (Julia) and seven great grandchildren (Liam, Logan, Brayden, Emma, Mason, Preston and Priscila).

Though Betty is no longer with us, her spirit remains in the hearts of those she touched. Her life was a testament to love and resilience. She had a passion for life's simple pleasures, finding joy in playing golf, visiting casinos, and basking in the love and laughter of her grand and great-grandchildren. They all were excited when her "infamous" $2 bill came in the mail. One of her favorite pastimes was sitting on her lanai, overlooking "Lake Elizabeth," always on the lookout for the elusive gator. Her love for travel took her on adventures across numerous continents, where she experienced the many wonders of the world. These memories and moments brought her immense happiness and fulfillment.

Her spirit and kindness have left an indelible mark on all of us. As we navigate through this time, let's remember the wonderful moments we shared and the positive impact she had on our lives. She will be dearly missed but never forgotten.

Friends and family are invited to gather and honor the life of Betty. Viewing will be held on Thursday, May 1st from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Howe-Peterson Funeral Home and Cremation Services, located at 22546 Michigan Ave., Dearborn, MI 48124. A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 2nd at 10:30 am at Howe-Peterson Funeral Home and Cremation Services, located at 22546 Michigan Ave., Dearborn, MI 48124. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Arbor Day Foundation or Salvation Army .
