Elizabeth Louise (Kennedy) Oravec, 94, passed away on October 18, 2019 at home in Dearborn.

Betty was born to John Lewis Kennedy and Bessie Amanda Hollis, on October 5, 1925 in Ann Arbor.

Betty was preceded in death by her late husband August Joseph Oravec, and late brothers Robert Kennedy (the late Ethyl), and Jack Kennedy (Gladys) and her late sister in law Joann Kennedy.

Betty is survived by her children Joseph August (Mary Beth). Linda (Marvin) Walter, and Mary (Vinson) Rehfeld. Also survived by her sister Ruth Clark (the late Charles)

Betty is survived by her eight grandchildren—Jennifer Borden (Tom), Sarah Manchester (David), Heather Houdek (Gerald) and Michelle Walter, Beth Blanchard (Robert), Karen Kessler, Joseph Patrick Oravec and Daniel Oravec (Anastasia)

Nine great grandchildren—Isabelle, Courtney, Benjamin and Andrew Borden, Aubrey, Marissa and Kennedy Manchester, and Stella and Emerson Houdek.

And many nieces and nephews from the Kennedy and Oravec families.

Funeral mass will take place at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 22430 Michigan Ave in Dearborn on Wednesday, October­­­ 23rd (Instate 10:30) followed by 11am Mass of Resurrection.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations Sacred Heart Church.
