Ellen Ruth Heise died on October 12, 2020, at the age of 58 due to complications from kidney failure. Ellen is preceded in death by her parents Allan Heise and Hanna(Schultz)Heise.  She is survived by her brother, Richard Heise, as well as, many other relatives and friends. Ellen was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith.  When her family moved to Dearborn in 1971, they joined Emmanuel Lutheran church in Dearborn.  Ellen was an active member of the congregation by singing in the choir, planning activities on the Fellowship Board and serving on the Altar Guild. Ellen graduated from Dearborn High School in 1980 and from Wayne State University in 1985 with a Bachelors Degree in English, Chemistry and Computer Science.  She worked for many years as a trainer at Performance Management where she had an opportunity to share her knowledge with patience and kindness.  She also worked tirelessly with the Friends for Animals of Metro Detroit raising funds and finding homes for animals in need. Ellen was an accomplished crocheter and jewelry maker.  All of the items she made were absolutely gorgeous.  She always impressed us with her latest hobby or technological gadget.  There was nothing she couldn't figure out, if she set her mind to it. Ellen made the world a better place by her example of faith, commitment, kindness, patience and positivity.  She will be missed by all who knew her.  A Memorial service to celebrate Ellen's life will be Sunday, October 25th, 3:00 p.m. at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 800 S.
