Elsie Ann Koester passed away on January 2, 2022 at home surrounded by her family following a brief illness. Loving wife of the late David. Beloved mom of David (Monique) Koester and Karyn (Heather and son Landon) Bowles. Proud Mimi to Hannah and Gabriella Koester and Pvt. Joseph Bowles, USMC and Dylan Bowles. Cherished life-long friend to Hellen Renaud and Sandra Benedetti. She will also be missed by her loyal fur companion, Willow, many cousins, friends, and her blended family.

Elsie adored spending her time on her patio tending to her garden and relaxing by her fountain. She always looked forward to having dinner with her friends. She was an avid country music fan, especially Blake Shelton, whom she was able to see in concert recently. Above all, her most cherished memories were those made when she spent time with her grandchildren. She was so proud of their accomplishments.

Visitation at the Dearborn Chapel of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home on Sunday, January 16, 1-8pm. Service on Monday, January 17, 11:00am at the funeral home. Interment at Cadillac Memorial Gardens West next to her beloved David.
