Enrico "Henry" Morrone, passed away on Saturday December 11, 2021. Beloved husband of Maria (Tamburro) Morrone for over 63 years. Loving father to 3 sons and their wives; Rick (Lynda), Mark (Dawn), and Remo Morrone. Dearest "Grampa", to 6 grandchildren; Lynsi (Scott) Woods, Ricky, Megan, Alicia, Michael and Mia Morrone. And very specially cherished Great-Nonno to Lilly Woods. Enrico was born to Virgilio and Concetta Morrone in Pastena Italy in 1936. He came to the United States with his mother and sister when he was 12 years old, and was finally able to meet his father,  who he had been separated from because of the war for almost 10 years. They all moved to Dearborn, as the auto industry continued to grow. It was there that Enrico met his true and only love – Maria. He always said that he knew right away that they were perfect for each other. Enrico worked as a dedicated Ford Motor company employee for almost 40 years, mostly in the illustration and design centers right in his hometown. While he had many successes in his career, "job one" was being close to home and living and teaching the values of being family. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces, and those who may have called him Mr. Morrone, but described him as "family". When he wasn't making wine, sausages, or canning tomatoes, he loved playing cards, bocce ball, hunting pheasants, gardening, fixing things, and inventing "gizmos", and of course telling stories. His stories are infamous and will live on forever.
