Erich Gotzfried passed away at home on February 3, 2021 at the age of 83. Loving husband of Patricia for 58 wonderful years. Dear father of Jeff (Rhanna), Kenny, and Scott (Nicki). Proud Opa of Kylie, Conner, Erica, Jeremy, Jennifer, and Matt (Jessica). Also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.

Erich was born in Germany and was very proud of immigrating to the United States, serving in the U.S. Army, and becoming an American citizen. He loved to spend time up north at the family cottage and playing golf in his free time.

Visitation at the Taylor Chapel of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home 10:30am-1:00pm. Service at 100pm with Army Honors to follow.

Interment at Michigan Memorial Park, Flat Rock.
