Obituary

Ernest E. Abbott, 87, passed away July 30th, 2018 in Wyandotte, Michigan.

He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Wilma.
Proud father of Kenny (Maria) Abbott, Danny (Gay) Abbott, Ernest (Dawn) Abbott, Ronald (Shiela) Abbott, Tempie (Rick) VanCleave, Richard (Yvonne) Abbott, Tammala (Willie) Montalvo, Robert (Tammy) Abbott, Randy Abbott, Rodney Abbott, and the late Eddie and Roscoe Abbott.
Cherished grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great grandfather to so many more.
Treasured brother of J.R., Nolan, Roylee, Clifford, Lamar, Edna, and the late Imagene and Frank.

Ernest enjoyed shooting targets and hunting all types of game. His favorite tunes were from all genres, but especially country, bluegrass, and gospel. He joined the Masons in 1970 and has been a avid member ever since. Ernest was a man of God and a proud family man to a big, blossoming, and beautiful family. Ernest was very strong throughout all that ailed him and fought hard to the end.

Visitation will be held Thursday, August 2 from 4-8PM with a special Masonic service at 7PM, and Friday, August 3 from 2-8PM. Funeral service Saturday at 11AM. All services will be located at the Taylor Chapel of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home. Ernest will be laid to rest at Woodmere Cemetery.
