Ernest K. Horvath passed away on February 22, 2023 at the age of 86. Beloved husband of the late Vivian. Devoted father of Aaron (Shelly) and David. Proud grandfather of Lana, Pierce, Chelsea, Raquel, David, and Collin. Dear brother of Frank, Debbie, and Arlene. Preceded in death by parents, Albert and Marie.

Ernest was a very talented and well-known Latin Jazz Pianist. His career spanned many decades and he has played from New York to Los Angeles and everywhere in between. He has joined the stage with many prominent musicians through the years, including Billy Joel. He was also a devout Catholic.

Visitation will be held at the Dearborn Chapel of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 28, 9am-11:30am. Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Tuesday at 12pm. Interment to follow at Woodmere Cemetery, Detroit.
