BERTANI, Eugene Angelo Age 87      July 10, 2017

A towman by trade, Gene was the founder and owner of Allied Towing Service Inc. since 1954. He was a member of the Michigan Towing Association and recipient of its distinguished service award. He was inducted into the International Towing and Recovery Hall of Fame - Class of 1996.

Gene was an avid Model "A" enthusiast and long time member of the Model "A" Restorers Club - Downriver Region, Motor City Model "A" Region and the Floral City Model "A" Region.

He is survived by his four sons, Ronald (Mary) Dial, David (Bev), Angelo (Teri) and Andrew (Dawn).

Also survived by his sister, Arlene Yearn along with 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
