Eugene F. Freeman's Obituary
FREEMAN, Eugene F. Cdr. USNR; age 96 of Dearborn. Survived by wife, Pauline (Matson). Father of Pamela (Hank) Laige, Laurel, David (Cathy), and Marcia. Survived by five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was a WWII veteran on the LST 508 in the invasion of Normandy, France. Most of his career was with the BASF in Wyandotte, MI. Memorial service May 14, 2016 at 11 AM, gathering at 10:30 AM at the Henry Ford Village Chapel, 15101 Ford Rd, Dearborn. Memorial contributions may be made to The Henry Ford Museum, 20900 Oakwood, Dearborn.
