Palmer "Eugene" Smith, aged 69 of Dearborn, Michigan passed away on June 5th, 2022. Eugene was born on June 4th, 1953 in Bedford, Indiana.

Beloved husband of Debra of 42 years. The two were married on September 29th, 1979 in Dearborn, Michigan. Dear uncle to Ryan (Melissa) Smith, Greg Smith, Randall McCombs, Brittany Matthews, and Alexis Matthews. Loving brother of James Michael Smith. Preceded in death by his parents Palmer and Martha Smith. Brother-in-law of Dena (Barry) Matthews and Darvin McCombs. Son-in-law of Douglas and the late Darlene McCombs. Eugene is also survived by his loving friend Izzy.

Inurnment will be conducted at Great Lakes National Cemetery on July 18th, 2022 at 9:00am in Holly, Michigan with military honors.
