May 11, 1942 – October 29, 2025

Evelyn passed away peacefully on October 29th. She was survived by her sisters; Doris (Larry) Korman, Elaine Kiddon, and preceded in death by Joanne (Jack) Lagasse, Karen (Bud) Ervin. Loving mother of Timothy Giles, Kimberly Giles and Pamela (Michael) Falk. Cherished grandmother of Matthew Giles, Rebecca (Dennis) Tomes, Michelle Giles, Timothy (Bethany) Roscini, Anthony Roscini, Nathan Falk and Benjamin Falk. Her blessed great-grandchildren Kayla Jaward, Breanna Giles, Ryan Roscini, Michele Roscini, Evan Roscini and Lucca Roscini.

Evelyn worked in clerical roles and Detroit Edison for 40 years.  At home she loved to garden vegetables and beautiful flowers. She will always be the matriarch of our family. As she loved hosting family for the holidays, special events and BBQs was her joy. Her favorite hobby was to shop and give gifts. She would plan her shopping trips to find the best prices to ensure we always had lots of packages to open as we celebrated a birthday or holiday together. We will cherish her love and generosity forever in our homes and hearts. She shared her funny sense of humor even in the toughest times as she struggled with dementia. We will all miss her.

Evelyn's Funeral Service will be 12:00 p.m. Monday, November 3, 2025, at the Dearborn Location of the Howe-Peterson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 22546 Michigan Ave, 48124, 313-561-1500.  Visitation Monday from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M., when the service will begin. After completion of the service, at approximately 2:00 P.M., there will be a procession to Woodmere Cemetery for Interment. Memorial contributions may be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation
