December 11, 1967 – November 21, 2021
Irazema "Eydie" Montana, age 53, peacefully passed away Sunday, November 21, 2021. She was the daughter of Adriana R. Montana and the late Paulo G. Montana, born December 11, 1967. She was a 1986 graduate of Patrick Henry High School in Hamler, Ohio. Eydie continued her education and received her degree in Liberal Arts from Wayne State University. She was an active member of the St. Andre Bessette Parish Catholic Church in Ecorse, Michigan. Eydie recently retired from the City of Dearborn, where she worked as a 911 dispatcher for the past 23 years. Eydie's talents were many; she was a great friend and loved to entertain. She enjoyed camping, traveling the world, crafts, church activities, and playing cards. She had a bright and positive personality and a pure love of life. Eydie lived life to the fullest and had an adventurous soul. She also loved spending quality time with her family. Eydie's legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone she interacted with.
Eydie is survived by her mother and sisters, Maria Elizabeth (Hesham) Naimi, Dinnia (Tareq) Ismail and brothers, Arthur (Debbie) Montana, Paul (Janet) Montana and numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Visitation at the Dearborn Chapel of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home on Friday, December 3, 2-7pm. Funeral Mass at St. Andre Bessette Catholic Church on Saturday, December 4, 11:00am.
