Ezequiel Zepeda falleció el 20 de julio de 2024 a la edad de 53 años. Fue el amado esposo de María durante 27 maravillosos años. Padre amoroso de Cecilia y Ezequiel II. Queridísimo hermano de Dolores, Josefina, Manuel, Trinidad, Agustín, Lourdes, Rosa, Salvador y Ma. Jesús. Le sobreviven muchas sobrinas y sobrinos, primos y familiares. Él será profundamente extrañado.

Ezequiel nació y creció en San Nicolás, Guanajuato, México. Desde temprana edad desarrolló un amor por la música. Cuando tenía 10 años ingresó a la Banda Hermanos Gallardo como trompetista. Ezequiel conoció a María en un baile cuando vivía en California. Se casaron en noviembre de 1997 y se mudaron a Michigan ese mismo mes. Después de mudarse a Michigan, Ezequiel se unió a la Banda Lucero como trompetista. Continuó tocando en la banda hasta poco después del nacimiento de Ceci.

A Ezequiel le encantaba bailar tanto como amaba la música. A Ezequiel también le encantaba la jardinería y cultivar sus propias frutas y verduras. Le encantaba ir a pescar con su hijo Chino. Ezequiel también disfrutaba de los proyectos de casa y de embellecer su hogar. Le encantaba ir a Home Depot con su amada perrita Daisy. Pasar tiempo con la familia era una de las cosas favoritas de Ezequiel. Ezequiel será recordado por su buen sentido del humor.

El velorio se llevará a cabo el viernes 26 de julio de 2024 de 1:00 a 8:00 p.m. con un Rosario a las 7:00 p.m. en Howe-Peterson Funeral Home and Cremation Services 9800 Telegraph Rd. Taylor, MI 48180. La misa fúnebre se llevará a cabo el sábado 27 de julio de 2024 a las 10:30 a. m. y la misa comenzará a las 11:00 a.m. en la iglesia St. Alfred Parish 24175 Baske St, Taylor, MI 48180.

Ezequiel Zepeda passed away on July 20, 2024 at the age of 53. Beloved husband of Maria for 27 wonderful years. Loving father of Cecilia and Ezequiel II. Dearest brother of Dolores, Josefina, Manuel, Trinidad, Agustín, Lourdes, Rosa, Salvador and Ma. Jesús. He is survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins and extended family. He will be deeply missed.

Ezequiel was born and raised in San Nicolas, Guanajuato, Mexico. From an early age he developed a love for music. When he was 10 he joined Banda Hermanos Gallardo as a trumpeter. Ezequiel met Maria at a dance when he lived in California. They were married in November 1997 and moved to Michigan that same month. After moving to Michigan, Ezequiel joined Banda Lucero as a trumpeter. He continued playing in the band until shortly after the birth of Ceci.

Ezequiel loved dancing as much as he loved music. Ezequiel also loved gardening and growing his own fruits and vegetables. He loved going fishing with his son Chino. Ezequiel also enjoyed DIY projects and making his home more beautiful. He loved going to Home Depot with his beloved dog Daisy. Spending time with family was one of Ezequiel's favorite things. Ezequiel will be remembered for his sense of humor.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 26, 2024 from 1:00-8:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm located at Howe-Peterson Funeral Home and Cremation Services 9800 Telegraph Rd. Taylor, MI 48180. The funeral mass will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024 instate at 10:30am and the mass will begin at 11:00am located at St. Alfred Parish 24175 Baske St, Taylor, MI 48180.
