Florence O. Gomolka passed away peacefully on April 8, 2023 at the age of 92.

Florence proudly devoted her life for 10 years as a Sister of the Order of St. Basil the Great. She exited the sisterhood and married her beloved Walter. They were married for 39 years.

Florence was born in her parents home in Detroit to a large, beautiful family; she was one of nine children. She enjoyed painting, drawing, and other arts.

A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 11am. A gathering of friends and family will take place at the church beginning at 10:30am.

Interment St. Hedwig Cemetery.
