Francis Richard Blassic, age 87, of Taylor, Michigan passed away at home on June 4th, 2026. Francis was born in Rice Landing, Pennsylvania of December 31st, 1938, the son of Francis and Sophie (Sebella) Blassic. Francis is survived by three children, Dawn (Paul) Wladischkin, John (Denise) Blassic, and Barbara Blassic. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Dorris Blassic, and a son, Frankie Blassic. He is also preceded by his birth mother, Ethel Marie Erler. He has many grandchildren, Amber, Matthew, Kristina, Marissa, Katlyn, and Devin. Including many great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. 

Francis worked for Dearborn Schools most of his life and he served in the Vietnam war as a very proud Marine. He will be greatly missed. 

Visitation will take place at Howe-Peterson Funeral Home 22546 Michigan Ave Dearborn from 11:00am-3:00pm. Burial will take place on Wednesday, June 10th at 1:00pm at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly.
