Franklin "Paco" Hurtig, 76 years old, of Dearborn, MI, passed away on July 7, 2022, at Wm. Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak of complications of Stage 4 Metastatic Stomach Cancer & Multiple Organ Failure.  He passed away surrounded by his Family & Friends.

Visitation is at Howe-Peterson Funeral Home at 22546 Michigan Ave., Dearborn, MI this Sunday, July 10, 2022. Visitation will be from 12 to 5 pm, Eulogy is at 4 pm & Prayers given by his Granddaughters Brooklyn & Sadie Rubinstein.

Following there will be a dinner for the "Celebration of Life" gathering at Mama Mia's Restaurant at 27770 Plymouth Rd., Livonia, MI 48150.

Frank "Paco" Hurtig was born in Detroit to John & Hilda Hurtig on January 4, 1946, in Detroit, Michigan.  He went to Mumford High School and Graduated in 1963.  He also went to Wayne State University and studied Political Science.  He was the owner of Best Buy Blinds and Frank Hurtig Interiors.  He married Patricia Volpe-Hurtig on May 10, 1997, in Las Vegas, and recently celebrated their 25 ^th Wedding Anniversary.

Frank is survived by his wife Patty Volpe-Hurtig, Son Michael & Denise Hurtig, Daughter Michelle & Ray Rodriguez, and 3 Granddaughters, Brooklyn & Sadie Rubinstein, and Angelina Rodriguez. As well as 2 Brother In-Laws, Virgil & David Volpe & 2 Sister In-Laws Linda & Anne Volpe, Niece Stefanie Volpe & 2 Nephews Ethan & Jack Kline.

Frank was loved by all, he was full of laughter, wit & kindness, he will be dearly missed by his family & friends ☹ It is such a Great loss of Life.
