SWEET, Frederick passed away on January 8, 2020 at the age of 53. Beloved husband of Terri. Loving father of Evan, Colin and Austin. Loved son of Betty and the late Lloyd. Cherished brother of Tammy (Bob) Rasmussen, Bob (Janet), Don, Brian (Tiffany) and his sister-in-law Julie. Dear son-in-law of Floyd and Sue Simpson and brother-in-law of Floyd Shawn Simpson. Devoted uncle to Tracie, Kevin, his Godson Andrew, Karson, Graham, Breandan, Kaila, and Jacob. Also survived by his many brothers in blue.

Fred has worked law enforcement for 30 years and was currently a Police Officer with the Van Buren Township Police Department. He was an avid deer hunter and fisherman who enjoyed displaying his hunting trophies. He liked traveling Up North and staying at his in-laws cottage.  Fred loved spending time with his boys, especially watching them play football and baseball. He also enjoyed handgun shooting competitions.
