SOWER, Gail Marie    Age 69 of Milford

Gail Marie Sower passed away peacefully on August 15, 2024 after a courageous 3 year battle with ovarian cancer.

Gail is survived by her daughter Anita (Christos) Polymeneas, her cherished granddaughter Abigail, siblings Anita (John) Reinholz, Henry (Patti) Sower Jr., Kimberly (Jim) Lisi, Jennifer (Frank) Nickowski and many adored nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Henry & Janet (Gillingham) Sower and her sister Linda (Sower) Sholar.

Gail received her Masters degree in Social Work from Wayne State University and loved her career as an addiction therapist for NCADD. She loved spending time with her family, gardening, nature, sitting by the water and collecting elephant figurines from all around the world.

Gail will always be remembered as having a smile that was contagious and a heart of gold that was pure. Her words of wisdom and unconditional love will live on forever.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2024 from 1:00-8:00pm and the Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 23, 2024 at 11:00am located at Howe-Peterson Funeral Home and Cremation Services 9800 Telegraph Rd. Taylor, MI 48180. Gail will be interred at Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery in Flat Rock, MI.
