Gary Steven Ledbetter was tragically killed in a traffic accident on October 14, 2022 on his way to work. He was born September 24, 1952 in Detroit, MI to Everett Gray Ledbetter and Elizabeth Marie (Patton) Ledbetter. Gary graduated from Chadsey High School in Detroit in 1970.  He worked for GMC for 51 years. Gary is survived by the love-of-his –life, Victoria (Whited), and their three children: Michelle (Mark) Kraszewski, Marianne Ledbetter, and Mark Ledbetter; grandchildren Isabella Ledbetter, Courtney Kraszewski and Logan Kraszewski; brother Larry (Delynne) Ledbetter, and sister Nancy Briggs. He was preceded in death by his parents Everett and Elizabeth. Gary was a man of faith and liked to go to his church, Sunset Church of Christ, in Taylor. He enjoyed bowling, playing golf, and playing cards.  Gary will be greatly missed by family and friends, at church and work. A celebration of Gary's life will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2022 at Sunset Church of Christ, 24800 Ecorse Rd. Taylor, MI at 12:00 p.m.; visitation will be at 11:00 a.m. to 12:00pm before the funeral. A meal will be served by the church at 1:00 p.m. Memorial gifts may be made to Sunset Church of Christ.
